Personal Injury Counseling
If you’re struggling after an accident, you’re not alone. Injuries can disrupt every part of life—but with the right support, healing and a meaningful future are within reach
Injuries impact every PIECE of your life
- Physically they cause pain and limited mobility that drains energy and negatively impacts sleep, immunity, mood and ability to do everyday tasks
- Interpersonally it can be hard to be patient and tolerant and maintain active relationships (including with your children) when you are in pain and exhausted
- Emotionally irritability and impatience and an inability to do the things you did prior to the accident contribute to depression, guilt and grief. Feelings of powerlessness and fear that occurred during the accident may linger and lead to the development of PTSD. Additionally, in some cases the injury leads to life-long disability and chronic pain which can significantly change your life course and self-concept.
- Cognitively stress, pain and poor sleep make it difficult to think clearly, problem-solve, communicate effectively and manage intrusive thoughts.
- Environmentally strained relationships and financial instability cause anxiety and tension. And, depending on the type of injury, you may require environmental modifications and long-term care planning to manage all aspects of the injury in a way that helps you move toward your rich and meaningful life.

Physical pain, exhaustion, and sleep problems can make even simple tasks feel overwhelming. It’s common to struggle with memory, concentration, and communication. Can I afford it?
YES! In personal injury cases I work on a lien basis. That means, just like the attorney you are working with, there are no up-front costs. Once your case settles, I am paid out of the settlement funds. If you don't win, I don't get paid, but that is a risk I take.
